Councils are encouraged to express gratitude to all clergy and religious men and women in your parish for their significant contributions.
Possible ideas include:
- a special Intercessory Prayer
- a thank you announcement after Mass
- present a spiritual bouquet certificate
- invite parishioners to stand and extend their arms as they recite a special blessing from the overhead
- hosting a coffee reception and/or providing a gift basket with home-baked treats, gift cards, etc.
- special reflections for the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary
