Rev. Rajesh D’Souza, OCD, currently Associate Pastor of St. Thomas More Church, Calgary, will be moving to the Diocese of Hamilton effective July 31, 2023
Rev. JB Minh Binh Doan, O.P., currently Pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, Calgary will be moving to the Archdiocese of Vancouver effective August 1, 2023.
Rev. Quoc Anh Phu O.P., currently Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Archdiocese of Vancouver, has been appointed Associate Pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, Calgary, effective August 3, 2023.

PRIESTS ARRIVING IN THE DIOCESE

Rev. Alexander Domingos Braganza, OCD, currently appointed to the Little Flower Monastery, India, where he has since carried out his ministry, has been appointed Associate Pastor of St. Thomas More Parish, Calgary, effective August 3, 2023.
Rev. Jose Fortunato Garces, currently appointed to the Diocese of Cubao, Philippines, will be assisting at Sacred Heart Parish, Calgary from July 6-August 9, 2023 while the Administrator is away on vacation
Rev. Quoc Anh Phu O.P., currently Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Archdiocese of Vancouver, has been appointed Associate Pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, Calgary, effective August 3, 2023.

Rev. Santiago Torres, newly ordained, has been appointed Associate Pastor of All Saints Parish, Lethbridge, and Associate Chaplain to the St. Francis Xavier Chaplaincy effective August 15, 2023.
Rev. Derek Remus, currently Associate Pastor of All Saints Parish, Lethbridge, has been appointed Associate Pastor of St. Luke’s Parish, Calgary, and Assistant Vocations Director effective August 1, 2023.
Rev. Troy Nguyen, currently Associate Pastor of St. Luke’s Parish, Calgary, has been appointed Associate Pastor of St. Bonaventure Parish, Calgary, and Associate Chaplain to the St. Francis Xavier Chaplaincy effective August 1, 2023.
Rev. Vincent HaTuan, currently Pastor of St. James Parish, Okotoks, has been appointed to the Medicine Hat Hospital Chaplaincy effective August 1, 2023.

Rev. Ajeesh Komalachan (Syro-Malankara Catholic Community), currently Associate Pastor of St. Michael’s Parish, Calgary, has been appointed to the Calgary Hospital Chaplaincy and will reside at St. Patrick’s Rectory effective July 1, 2023.
Rev. Rowel Jose (Arjay) Abanto, currently Administrator of Sacred Heart Parish, Calgary, has been appointed Pastor effective August 1, 2023.
Rev. Pilmaiken Lezano, currently Administrator of Our Lady of the Rockies Parish, Canmore, has been appointed Pastor effective August 1, 2023.

SEMINARIAN ON PASTORAL YEAR

Peter An, currently on pastoral year of internship at St. Luke’s Parish, Calgary, under the supervision of Rev. Fernando Genogaling, will resume his seminary studies at St. Joseph Seminary, Edmonton effective August 31, 2023.

Deacon Carlos Lozano, a permanent deacon incardinated in the Diocese of Quilmes Argentina, now residing in Calgary, has been appointed to Holy Spirit Parish, Calgary, effective August 1, 2023.
