Kim became a member of the CWL in 2008, proudly following in the footsteps of her grandmother and mother. She has served on parish CWL executives in both Edmonton and Calgary in a variety chairs. After completing her term as Past President, Kim took two years to reflect, pray, and discern her place within the League. This renewal led her to serve as the Calgary Diocesan Social Justice Chair for the past two years, and she now serves as Vice President.
Professionally, Kim has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2001, specializing in adult swallowing and communication disorders in Regina, Edmonton, and Calgary. Her healthcare career has strengthened her passion for advocacy, especially for individuals unable to speak for themselves.
Outside of work and volunteer commitments, Kim enjoys cycling, yoga, Pilates, gardening, cooking, and baking for her husband and friends. She is also active in her church choir, singing and playing the flute. On quieter days, she enjoys reading, quilting, cross-stitching, and puzzles.
Kim married her high school sweetheart, Jeff, in 1999. They share their home with Herbert, their lovable Bernese Mountain lapdog. With her many interests, Kim is rarely sitting still.
