Councils are encouraged to express gratitude to all clergy and religious men and women in your parish for their significant contributions.

Possible ideas include:

• a special Intercessory Prayer
• a thank you announcement after Mass
• present a spiritual bouquet certificate
• invite parishioners to stand and extend their arms as they recite a special blessing from the overhead
• hosting a coffee reception and/or providing a gift basket with home-baked treats, gift cards, etc.
• special reflections for the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary
