Angie was born in Medicine Hat and lived on a farm in Southern Alberta until she graduated at which time she moved to Medicine Hat for two years. In 1959 she moved to Calgary.
She has belonged to numerous parishes in Calgary but in 2000 she became a parishioner at St Bonaventure and it was there eleven years ago that she joined the Catholic Women’s League. Since that time she has served on the executive positions of Organization, President and is presently Past President.
A Telus retiree, Angie likes to keep busy by volunteering at her church and in her community. At her church she is a committee member of Mission Mexico, serves on the Hospitality/Information Desk and is a spare for the Adoration Chapel. In the community she volunteers at the Father Lacombe Nursing Home and does the school programs at Fort Calgary.
In her spare time she enjoys travel, the theatre, cooking and baking, golf, walking, reading and family.
As part of your Diocesan Executive, Angie is looking forward to meeting more CWL members and to serving you as your Standing Committee Chair on Christian Family Life.
